WHAT CRYPTO ASSETS CAN I BUY ON THE DACXI EXCHANGE?
The Crypto Assets you can trade on the Dacxi Exchange are: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin and DAC. Let’s learn about them.
In this video we’re going to take a quick look at the different crypto assets you can trade on the Dacxi Exchange.
While we will add support for more assets in the future, right now, we have Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, and of course Dacxi’s very own DAC Coin!
Let’s have a quick look at each asset…
Bitcoin. As you probably know, Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency and it’s the one everyone has heard of. The idea with Bitcoin was to create a new form of money that is completely digital. Bitcoin runs on a global network called a blockchain. Instead of being controlled by a bank or government, the Bitcoin network is decentralised. Bitcoin reached an all time high of almost $20,000 in December 2017 making it one of the best performing assets on the planet in 2017. It’s hasn’t done so well in 2018 but who knows, in the future, we just might get another Bitcoin bull market. Here’s hoping right?! Until that happens, I’m just going to keep accumulating little bits of Bitcoin when I can…
Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash was forked from Bitcoin on August 1st, 2017. Bitcoin Cash was created by a group of developers who believe that the Bitcoin block size should be bigger in order to allow for lower fee transactions.
Ethereum: Ethereum is designed for decentralised applications. Ethereum’s vision is to create a “World Computer” – a global network of computers that run Internet applications without the need for third parties. When using Ethereum, payments are made using its own platform coin, called Ether or ETH.
Ethereum ClassicEthereum Classic was the original Ethereum blockchain. In 2016, a coder discovered a flaw in a project called The DAO that ran on the Ethereum network. The coder was able to steal 3.6 million ETH. To prevent the stolen ETH from being spent, the Ethereum network was hard forked, which means a split in the blockchain. The original chain is called Ethereum Classic and the new chain is called Ethereum.
LitecoinLitecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin. Litecoin was created in October 2011 by ex-Google employee Charlie Lee. Charlie’s vision was for Litecoin to be the silver to Bitcoin’s gold. Litecoin is like a faster, nimbler version of Bitcoin.
Finally, we have the DAC Coin. Dacxi’s DAC Coin is an Exchange Coin. The DAC is at the centre of the fast growing Dacxi ecosystem. As Dacxi continues to evolve, the DAC coin will unlock exclusive content in Dacxi’s community, allow Dacxi members access to exclusive affiliate opportunities, and enable discounted trading fees on the Dacxi Exchange.
Those are the crypto assets currently available on the Dacxi Exchange.
